I cannot discourage readers enough about going here with items.
I brought in 5 items - 4 dresses for dry cleaning and 1 for hem alterations. I'm religious with formal cleaning of 'forever' items in my wardrobe and actively chose to support local business. I value trust, honesty and good service - especially given a high price-tag. If values are aligned, I will be a loyal ambassador for the company in recommendations and repeat business.
I'M DISAPPOINTED THIS WAS NOT THE CASE.
In summary, 40% of items brought in were damaged, on dresses worth £400+. Having to go somewhere new.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD.
Firstly, 1 item was missing when collecting. When they brought the item over it was evident it had not been cleaned and had new stains than what I had brought in. (I photographed before bringing the item in, as it was my first time using this place and i'm new to the area.) They tried to bill me anyways, but I was firm on not paying for an item I believed not to be clean and I gave them the benefit of the doubt that there was a miscommunication and agreed to collect the next day. Paid full price for items.
When home I looked over all other items, and was DEVASTATED that the dress alteration was botched. The tailor had clearly not separated the inside lining from the outside whilst amending and and had hacked the inside lining across half the dress. Sewing/pleats was not taken into account which made the dress pucker at the warp. Company was not forth-coming with the mistake.
Went straight back and requested my outstanding item - I no longer trusted the company with a dress I loved, given the combined dishonesty displayed earlier when collecting other items and the alteration damage. The attendant would not give me my item without an argument. Very shocking and rude behaviour - implied I was complaining to get the money back - despite me bringing in c.£100 in services and having paid upfront, I never even asked for a refund (and none was offered either!) I was furious the company publicly lacked integrity - all I wanted was to get my items back before it was ruined and take it somewhere where they can be cleaned/altered in confidence.

Made me pay upfront for cleaning, failed to get stains off, didn't tell me when I collected, refused partial regund then told me I was a "filthy" and "dirty" person! Unbelievably rude and dishonest. Avoid.
